As a Competitive Intelligence Analyst, you will be working in a industry leading team that aims to serve quality and actionable insights to a broad set of stakeholders across all lines of business in Expedia Group.
Your curiosity, ambition and appetite for finding insights in competitor's data will have a direct impact on many areas of the business, and will translate directly into increased competitiveness and revenue opportunities for Expedia.

In this role, you will:
Establish and optimize information flows to support effective business execution.
Lead data collection efforts, scheduling, and quality control monitoring to enhance datasets with competitive insights.
Develop systems and processes to track competitiveness using data from external vendors.
Design workflows and define tests to ensure internal stakeholders utilize accurate and relevant data efficiently.
Address ad-hoc requests for data and provide detailed analysis.
Collaborate with internal customer groups to support and understand their business needs.
Establish trust and cultivate collaborative working relationships.
Provide exceptional daily customer service as the team's primary liaison to a diverse group of customers across multiple countries within Expedia's lodging organization.
Work closely with internal data teams to identify and resolve data integrity issues.
Experience and Qualifications:
Advanced knowledge of SQL.
Proficiency in a programming language (e.g., Python or R) is highly recommended.
Strong system modeling skills (e.g., UML) are highly recommended.
Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a numerical field (e.g., Business, Economics, Statistics, or Computer Science) is required; an MBA or other advanced degree is preferred.
Additional qualifications (e.g., program management) are a plus.

Possesses top-tier business acumen, a rigorous approach, and a problem-solving mindset with keen attention to detail.
Demonstrates high intellectual curiosity and a proactive focus on actionable business insights.
Exhibits excellent skills in visualizing highly complex data effectively.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Technically adept.
