Content Program Specialist

Content has the power to inform traveler expectations and drive trust with our business. This role helps support exceptional experiences for all our customers.


The Content Program Specialist is responsible for maintaining the quality and standards for Expedia Group’s Lodging listings globally. Our work ensures that travelers see photos, descriptions, and other details that are complete, accurate, and appealing.


The role is an entry way into operational and program career paths and is part of Expedia Group’s Marketplace and Trust organisation. The team's mission is to define and drive standards for all our Lodging suppliers. We work closely with product and technology teams, finding innovative ways to connect business insights with the content eco-system.

What you’ll do:

  • Complete requests from internal teams to update or troubleshoot content issues, clarifying details when necessary and adhering to guidelines

  • Provide excellent customer service by responding in a professional manner upon completion of the request

  • Own special projects for the health of content acquisition and maintenance

  • Communicate across multiple stakeholder teams, to educate them on process and standards

  • Occasionally support product and technology teams in designing new content features, display changes, and other traveler-facing initiatives

Who you are:

  • 1-3 years’ experience in content management, travel & hospitality, e-commerce, customer service, or a related field

  • Able to work independently as well as be a strong team worker, ensuring the whole team wins

  • Able to work towards a variety of targets, goals and/or strategic objectives

  • Curiosity, with an understanding of data-driven analysis

  • Experience using multiple tools/data systems and the aptitude to learn new tools and technical processes quickly

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook

  • Experience of Salesforce and SQL or Querybook a plus

  • Proficiency in English

  • Able to present ideas clearly and persuasively; active listening skills

  • Ability to effectively communicate to various levels and through a variety of channels

  • Organisation and time-management skills, rigour, attention to details

  • Proven follow-up and persistence when facing challenging situations

  • Open to feedback for continuous improvement
