Senior Business Program Specialist
Introduction to team
Travel Partnerships and Media helps partners deliver excellent traveler and B2B experiences, driving growth for them and the EG marketplace through competitive supply, a valued advertising and travel media network, and affiliate solutions.
Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Business Program Specialist to help drive the growth of our online cruise business in alignment with our overall strategy. In this role, you’ll act as a subject matter expert on cruise offerings and the technology that powers them, collaborating with internal teams, partners, and vendors to continuously improve the cruise platform. You’ll resolve issues, launch new features, track performance, and prioritize future enhancements.
Additionally, you will work with teams across call center operations, merchandising, marketing, and analytics to identify areas for improvement and unlock further growth opportunities. As a key point of contact, you’ll provide training and support, maintain documentation, become a platform administrator, and deliver feedback to technology partners to enhance the cruise experience. This role requires strong program management skills, along with proven experience as an administrator of a technology platforms, and a strong business acumen.
In this role, you will:
Be the subject matter expert and day-to-day administrator working with EG cruise booking platform, third party tools and fulfillment partners
Represent the voice of Expedia Group’s cruise needs and various stakeholders (call center operations, account managers, marketing, partners, corporate team, and more)
Working with our technology partner, plan an overall cruise platform roadmap with planned features and enhancements
Drive overall awareness and adoption this cruise booking platforms throughout the organization through communication, training support, documentation, and more
Troubleshoot and problem solve - deep dive into issues and identify solutions or create bug/feature tickets and see through completion
Manage new feature rollouts and feedback loops to both internal and external stakeholders
Provide regular, clear, and concise status updates to stakeholders and cross-functional teams
Report on key metrics and share key insights and findings
Experience and qualifications:
3-5 years experience in program management, program support, product management
Degree in business or related discipline
Highly organized and able to adapt to changing needs with excellent attention to detail
Solid interpersonal skills including cross-functional team collaboration and service oriented
Strong written and oral communication skills in complex scenarios
Critical thinking and problem-solving are required traits
Expertise in problem-solving, project coordination, planning, process development, and improvement skills
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
