We’re looking for a Mobile Engineer II, iOS, to join our team on an exciting journey to build the capabilities and foundations that will power the next generation of Expedia’s traveller checkout experiences!

What You'll Do:

• Participate in the Entire Software Development Lifecycle: Engage in all stages from initial concept, gathering requirements, and designing solutions, to development, testing, and deployment.
• Develop and Enhance iOS Applications: Play a pivotal role in the modular and scalable design and architecture of iOS apps using Swift and relevant technologies.
• Ensure High Quality and Performance: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Participate in code reviews to uphold high standards of code quality.
• Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with a team of skilled developers both locally and globally to solve complex problems and enhance the team’s overall expertise through peer code reviews and adopting innovative technologies.
• Continuous Improvement: Proactively seek to improve development practices and processes. Continually enhance your own technical skills and share your knowledge with the team.

Who You Are:

• Experienced Developer: 1-4 years of experience in building iOS applications. You should have been significantly involved in launching one mobile application.
• Proficient in Swift and iOS Tools: Strong skills in Swift & Swift UI with a good understanding of Xcode and other iOS development tools.
• Understanding of Mobile UI Design: Solid grasp of user interface design for mobile apps and an understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines.
• Quality and Detail-Oriented: Passionate about writing high-quality code that is well-structured and easy to maintain. You should have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to excellence.
• Team Player: Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team. You should be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism, as well as sharing knowledge and assisting teammates.
• Problem Solver: Able to think critically and solve complex problems with innovative and effective solutions.
• Adaptable and Eager to Learn: Willing to explore new technologies and methodologies to solve problems and improve existing systems.
