Collections Supervisor
In this Collections Supervisor position, we are looking for a highly motivated, goal-oriented individual with great language and people leadership skills, who carries a positive attitude towards challenges.
You will be responsible for leading as well as participating in the daily processes of the Collections department for your market and team. You will ensure collections tasks are completed timely, provide task priorities to the team, help with critical problem resolution, assist in leadership responsibilities, and ensure company and departmental policies are followed.

What you'll do:
Collaborate with a diverse and distributed team to innovate processes, strategies, and procedures
Assist with problem resolution and leadership responsibilities
Assist the team to prioritize daily tasks
Contribute with global teams and corporate contacts on raised issues
Lead and mentor the team on performance and personal development
Supervision and performance of daily collection department functions, including assignment of work queues, management of critical cases escalation and monitoring of collector workloads and performance against metrics
Responsible for coordinating staff, including but not limited to fielding questions, providing task priorities, and problem resolution
Actively participate in interviewing and hiring employees
Lead and coach team applying formal performance reviews and one-on-ones while leading by example
Use various applications and tools such as Sidetrade, Avaya CMS, Partner Central and the Microsoft Suite of products
Who you are:
Must be fluent in English. Spanish is not mandatory but desirable
Bachelor’s in any related field; or equivalent related professional experience
Solid experience in managing people
People orientated and leader by example
Positive attitude, goal-oriented, diligent and organized
Pro-active, data driven and customer centric
Problem solver
Resilient, able to work in a fast paced and changing environment
Solid understanding of basic programs including Excel, Word and Outlook
Analytical and mathematical skills
Excellent verbal and written communication and negotiation skills
