Sourcing Analyst – Sourcing Operations
Expedia's Global Procurement Group is part of the larger Finance organization, which is seeking a Senior Sourcing Analyst for its Sourcing Operations team. By building strong relationships with a variety of stakeholders, you will be responsible for driving operational excellence, and managing the triage of new procurement intakes.
What you’ll do:
Driving a timely and accurate triage process of the procurement activities coming through the Procurement Intake Form at the Expedia Group
Provide category assistance, including stakeholder work on getting complete and accurate project information (i.e. specifications, timing, challenges, etc.)
Support continuous improvement of procurement processes
Handle administrative processes and activity reporting as needed to support projects
With guidance, Drive contract creation/negotiation, including drafting and refining redline commercial components of purchasing and service contracts, statements of work, and software order forms in collaboration with Legal and other stakeholders
Analyze and communicate ongoing opportunities to drive spend to varied category teams for more strategic solutions
Conduct analysis, coordinate key partner participation (Legal, Tax, Information Security, Finance, etc.) and execute supporting administrative processes
Facilitate efforts across multiple products/brands as well as multiple geographies in developing solutions to problems
Create, communicate and execute on sourcing project work plan and timeline
Identify supporting efforts, dependencies or barriers
Identify any sourcing issues and communicate progress
Execute against a portfolio of projects that can be large and critical initiatives, as well as transactional
Assist with risk analysis to identify issues (financial, operational and/or regulatory) and develop risk mitigation strategy
Communicate risks and alternative mitigation strategies to business owners and partners
Handle administrative processes and activity reporting as needed to support projects
Support other business-related activities as directed by management
Who you are:
Positive “can do” attitude
Understanding of procurement and strategic sourcing practice
Analytical, process and collaboration skills to resolve business problems
Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills
1+ years’ experience in global corporate indirect procurement/strategic sourcing with a focus on transactional with goal of moving to more strategic solutions for category
Minimum Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or relevant field
Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite
Works well with opposing priorities and high levels of ambiguity
Strong eye for business, analytical and interpersonal skills with a high degree of attention to detail
Strong process orientation with project management skills
Great teammate who can work independently while prioritizing your own work and resources
Capable of working with abstract concepts and effectively communicating topics to others
Ability to work with a sophisticated matrix of partners and businesses
Ability to handle time to complete work optimally and efficiently
