We are looking for an experienced Global Markets Manager to take responsibility for the Turkish market, focus on driving growth and enhance our market presence.
What you'll do:
Generate customer (traveler), partner (supplier), market & competitor insights to drive growth in the Turkish Market
Monitor the macro environment, including market trends and tracking local competitors
Build meaningful insights and recommendations that drive activations and strategies for the market
Analyze and model data, generate ready-to-deploy insights with relevant recommendations
Identify, evaluate and lead new partnerships and affiliates discussions with key stakeholders in the industry
Work closely with partner groups within Expedia Group to align planning and execution of marketing and partnerships initiatives
Provide product analysis based on use cases for local travelers, feeding the global product organization with requirements for locally relevant improvements, tools and features
Measure and assess customer satisfaction, market and business performance, efficiency and effectiveness of programs with data collection methods and procedures (e.g. surveys, opinion polls or questionnaires) or identify relevant existing data
Develop and drive significant and sustained change and performance improvement from data-driven insights in a number of different areas or contexts
Partner with analysts to collect and analyze data by articulating clear requirements for analyses
Utilize existing quantitative and/or qualitative research, analyze data; present findings with no supervision
Help colleagues, customers and other stakeholders explore and understand their wider business challenges
Apply understanding of the policies, practices, trends and information that impact the organization and its customers to anticipate and plan for each step of a project
Create clear, concise and organized communication materials (e.g. reports, dashboards, presentations, messages)
Engage with multiple stakeholders in the organization to implement recommendations and actions based on their analyses/insights
Who you are:
Bachelor's or Master's in a related field; or equivalent related professional experience
Fluency in both English and Turkish is essential
Knowledge of the Turkish travel market is a significant plus
A strategic thinker who drives clear insights to inform the market strategy and related actions
A creative and innovative thinker with a “can do” attitude and a bias for action
Ability to work with cross-functional teams to drive execution against project achievements and deliverables
Ability to identify methods for collecting data, perform data analyses and articulate findings
Deep understanding of the financial impact of decisions/solutions and how to contribute to positive outcomes
Ability to communicate via differing modes and tailor messages to audiences
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills
Understanding of copy writing and the ability to edit to have one consistent voice to the customer
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and SQ; Proficiency in Tableau and Microsoft BI a plus
