Product Manager – New Lines of Business

Expedia’s Rapid API supports our partners across a wide range of segments, including loyalty programs, airlines, travel agents, corporate travel management companies and online retailers enabling them to shop for lodging and other lines of business on behalf of their customers.
We are looking for a Product Manager to join the Rapid API product team to help define and deliver our Activities and Insurance roadmap. The role will involve working with various teams across Expedia Group to ensure our partners have access to the world’s best supply.
What you'll do:
- You will develop close relationships with our partners to understand their needs informing the strategy for your domain
- You will work on a portfolio of products, looking after various roadmaps and continuously prioritizing
- You will work together with your engineering teams to transform ideas into reality
- You will build great relationships with our sales and technical teams to ensure products are launched and supported successfully
- You will work with our analytics team to track the performance of your products against targets to evaluate their success
- You will care about your products, advocate for them, believe passionately in them
Who you are:
- You will have 5+ years in the travel industry, preferably in a B2B role wit some experience of car or activities
- You will have 3+ years experience with either Activities or Insurance lines of business
- You have a solid understanding of API products
- You are excited by the accountability that comes with leading a large portfolio of products
- You have outstanding influencing skills, including experience working within a large matrix organization
- You speak knowledgeably with engineers about a problem space, can communicate user stories and know how to build products incrementally
- You can identify the best business opportunities, make prioritization calls, and devise a clear strategy

The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $125,500.00 to $176,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $201,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
