Senior Manager, Advanced Analytics

We are looking for an outstanding individual to lead our dynamic CRM and Loyalty Analytics team. Your team will provide powerful insights that will shape the way the various EG brands directly communicate with their customers via email/push , and reward their base of loyal members through the loyalty program. As a Senior Manager you will work closely with our other analytics teams across Expedia Group and drive for analytics’ excellence across the team.

What you'll do:
- Lead a team of ~5 analysts to partner with CRM and Loyalty teams to influence our acquisition and engagement strategy through data-driven insights
- Enhance our methodology framework for test result measurement to incorporate long-term estimation and scalability across different types of tests
- Develop and implement a cutting-edge toolkit for A/B testing in CRM
- Partner with Data Science team to embed machine learning techniques to personalize all aspects of our communications such as content, messaging, contact frequency
- Apply advanced analytics techniques to identify optimization levers for our engagement strategy across CRM and Loyalty
- Contribute towards advancing the experimentation discipline at Expedia, including but not limited to driving data best practices (e.g. analysis, goaling, experimentation), improving analytical processes, scaling knowledge and tools, and mentoring other analysts
Who you are:
- Bachelor’s, Master’s or Ph.D. degree in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or another quantitative field
- 8+ years of work experience in a data analytics role
- 4+ years of people management experience
- Strong experience in experimental design, causal inference methods, forecasting, predictive modeling or optimization
- Proficiency in SQL and strong fluency in Python or R
- Proficiency in Tableau with solid experience leveraging Tableau for insights focused analytics projects
- Skilled in engaging with stakeholders across various levels, including VPs/SVPs, and communicating complex concepts concisely and clearly
- Experience with customer, CRM, loyalty analytics preferred
- Exposure to the travel industry and online marketing preferred

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $173,000 to $242,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
