About the Internship Program:
Location: you will join our EU Government Affairs based in Brussels, Belgium
Orientation: onboarding with introduction to Government affairs and legal practice areas and an introduction to Expedia Group
Support: continuous coaching and advice, provided by a dedicated manager
Project work: as an intern you will enjoy a great level of responsibility and complete incredible projects

What You’ll Do:
Research and analysis on a range of policy topics.
Organising and participating in meetings and events.
Supporting in the delivery of public affairs and communications programmes on a number of different policy areas.
Assisting in the implementation of outreach programmes toward EU institutions and other stakeholders.
Assisting in preparing reports, presentations, and other internal/external documents.
Who You Are:

Must be available to start in September 2024 , for a six month internship
Must be eligible to work in the Belgium where the internship takes place. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship.
Must be a 2023 or 2024 graduate with a bachelors/masters degree in a related field (EU affairs, politics, law, economics…)
Must be fluent in English is essential, knowledge of other EU languages is an asset
Must have no more than 0-2 years of professional experience in a similar role
Helpful to have previous internship or experience in the EU institutions or in public affairs
Helpful to be knowledgeable of the EU institutions and of EU decision-making
Helpful to have effective communication skills and the ability to engage with a variety of partners (e.g., internal, external, technical, non-technical people)
Helpful to have enthusiasm to learn about the EU digital & tech policies
