Marketing Automation and Campaign Specialist
Do you have experience in global online B2B email marketing using Marketo? Are you technically minded and passionate about creating marketing campaigns to grow revenue and improve the partner experience? Are you looking for a high-impact role where you’ll collaborate with teammates around the globe to build best-in-class marketing automation campaigns?
We are looking for all this in our marketing automation and campaigns specialist who will support Expedia Group’s marketing efforts to our 38,000+ demand partners across two Expedia Group products. We are seeking your experience in running global customer communication campaigns and your technical expertise in Marketo, enabling us to acquire new partners and grow existing ones.
What you’ll do:
This role has two main sets of responsibilities: Campaign support and Automation support.
Campaign support:
Support the implementation of marketing campaigns through email and landing page builds and preparation of onsite marketing assets.
Plan and execute ongoing testing (layout, format, frequency, copy, etc.) to continuously improve email and landing page performance focused. Effectively communicate results to team and management.
Facilitate post-campaign learnings and build a knowledge base of campaign best practice for new business and partner marketing.
Support the production and implementation of articles and other learning solutions content.
Own and optimize our global master campaign intake process.
Automation support:
Produce accurate, high-quality, thoughtfully designed Marketo solutions independently
Collaborate with workstream leads and use datasets to uncover insights and identify opportunities to improve campaigns and processes.
Early problem solving and scoping - you will need to take the first steps to frame a problem (eg. With the Marketo to Saleforce sync) and develop a work plan for review
Document technical solutions in a way that is understandable and usable for business-oriented consumers.
Who you are:
2+ years’ experience working directly in Marketo to execute B2B marketing campaigns
Experience with CRM platforms like Salesforce.
A passionate B2B marketing automation specialist: You love technology and have a knowledge of and enthusiasm for marketing automation best practices, emerging trends, and technologies.
Strong knowledge of Marketo and good skills with Salesforce. Experience in other marketing tech stack tools, such as Knak a plus, but not required.
Data-driven with an analytical mindset: Confident analysing large data sets to find opportunities and uncover ways to continuously improve our campaigns.
Tireless, results-driven mentality: Able to continually critique and optimise performance with a positive mind-set.
High impact personality: True self-starter with an enthusiastic and positive, can-do attitude and bias to action.
Communication skills: Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
You are passionate about understanding partners’ businesses and commercially minded.
Ability to work comfortably in ambiguous situations.
Ability to work effectively in a lean, entrepreneurial, global and highly matrixed environment.
Affinity for data – experience with data modeling, database design, and segmentation techniques
Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
