Looking to join a team that relentlessly strives for better, has a bias to action, aims to simplify everything and is passionate towards the operational side of sales? Are you a process-driven professional with a hunger to improve the status quo?

Expedia Partner Solutions’ global sales operations team is looking for a Sales Operations Manager who will drive the effectiveness and efficiency of our sales teams through close collaboration with various functions to review, improve and implement our sales processes.

  • Streamlining the sales process by proactively proposing new processes, prioritizing automation and sharing best practices

  • Flagging problem areas and recommend next steps so sales teams can be more efficient

  • Analysing data and using key metrics as well as stakeholder feedback to measure effectiveness and uncover areas for improvement of the sales process.

  • Driving adoption and compliance of the concepts defined in Blueprint

  • Implementing a regular and ongoing cycle of updating the blueprint sales process based on business changes, insights, and feedback to ensure the blueprint remains relevant in our fast-growing business

  • Updating documentation and driving communication of changes on a regular cadence

  • Maintaining and supporting the process for the termination of our lowest tier of unmanaged accounts

  • Maintaining and supporting sales compliance initiatives

  • Reviewing and establishing the documentation and implementation of sales process exceptions

  • Supporting ad-hoc initiatives as required

Who you are:

  • Prior experience in sales operations and process improvement in a B2B organization and/or travel industry (Six Sigma certification or any other process certification is a plus)

  • Robust understanding of Salesforce.com and how it can enable and add value to the sales cycle (Salesforce certifications are a plus)

  • Ability to think like a salesperson and understand the B2B sales process and the opportunities and challenges surrounding it

  • Strong ability to simplify complex operations and data and effectively communicate this to leaders across all levels of our organization

  • Knowledge of how to develop project plans, define timeframe and prioritize tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives.

  • Knowledge to identify the type of resources required to support a project and make recommendations for specific people, technology, partners, etc.

  • Drive to monitor progress to meet project milestones, timelines, specifications, and requirements.

  • Drive to develop high-standard goals, ideas, and initiatives and derive satisfaction from executing them

  • Ability to influence and build consensus among internal teams

  • Highly collaborative spirit and able to work across many functions and build rapport quickly

  • Desire to both see and execute the bigger picture and get into the details of required activities

  • Experience working in a large matrix organization with a fast pace of work

  • Ability to manage complexity and competing priorities

  • High energy and results-focused (short-term and long-term vision)
