Expedia’s B2B marketing analytics team supports the lodging organization by analyzing business trends, deriving insights and guiding management’s focus based on findings. In addition, the group will support the management of key projects and initiatives.

Given the high visibility and wide exposure to Expedia’s business, B2B marketing analytics also serves as a talent pool for the wider organization.

What you'll do:

Help determine lodging chain partner marketing performance and its underlying drivers to ensure success of our lodging supplier business.

This may include:

  • Provide business impact partner marketing reporting for multi-channel campaigns, requiring longer listening window than our independent lodging marketing and utilizing Message Gears email platform.

  • Determine lodging chain account level performance for aggregate marketing initiatives to headquarter/corporate contacts who represent multiple properties

  • Collaborate with lodging chain partner marketing teams and other internal analytic teams to identify key opportunity areas that deeper analytics support could provide an unlock

  • Develop resource efficiency metrics to showcase value and impact of lodging chain self-serve marketing assets and initiatives

  • Create automated lodging chain marketing reporting dashboard/s for seamless self-serve reporting by partner marketing teams

  • Assist with lodging chain reporting benchmark development

  • Incorporate lodging chain reporting into marketing scorecard

  • Perform testing to understand the incrementality and impact of partner marketing channel activities on the overall business.

  • Define and own metrics that help drive the lodging chain business forward.

  • Provide insightful recommendations to stakeholders, identifying performance drivers, and proactively target areas for improvement optimization.

  • Own lodging chain analysis as the end-to-end, acquisition and growth, business owner for marketing and the overall analytics organization.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or other technical field desired, Master/PHD preferred

  • Superior problem-solving skills, self-directed and the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines.

  • Intellectual curiosity for what drives the business.

  • Hands-on analytical experience, knowledge of SQL, R/Python, A/B testing, Incrementality testing, and Tableau or other equivalents.
