At Expedia Group, Trust and Safety is not just checking a box; it is a critical part of keeping our travelers and partners safe from harm and disruption. We are looking for an experienced product leader who will have the opportunity to build effective and scalable technologies to prevent these disruptive events from impacting our marketplace, while enabling a safer experience for millions of users globally across Expedia Group.

  • Work with the ML team and engineering leads to increase the breadth of bad actor signals and expand coverage of existing signals

  • Propose solutions to improve safety from a preventive approach - detect any disruptive or unsafe behavior at the earliest possible

  • Collaborate cross-functionally across Expedia Group: Product, ML, Engineering, Design, Operations, Policy, Legal, and business teams to make strategic technology bets

  • Define project goals and key results that align with strategic vision. Gain consensus, work with Analytics to test, learn, and track results, and communicate progress to leadership

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree; or Equivalent related professional experience

  • You have 6+ years of software product management experience delivering products (including preferred experience across marketplace services, ML/AI products, etc.)

  • You get a thrill from ambiguous and complex challenges, while leaning on your systems thinking powers to create customer value at scale

  • You can collect and analyze data from various sources, identify key insights, spot product optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions. Comfortable designing technical products leveraging data, ML and AI

  • You demonstrate a critical understanding of business processes and challenges, developing solutions to meet unique business needs and objectives with engineering stakeholders

  • You have a knack for storytelling by using data and using that ability to influence senior stakeholders and key leaders

  • You demonstrate expertise in leading product vision and partnering with your technological counterparts to deliver the best possible customer experiences
