What you’ll do

  • Act as the point of contact for resource booking, team confirmation, conflict resolution, and development of solutions in support of business goals.
  • Understand resource skill sets, strengths, weaknesses, and goals to effectively staff projects.
  • Work with department leads to identify appropriate resource requirements for each project.
  • Ensure that each resource’s primary focus is to create amazing work.
  • Manage and resolve resource-booking conflicts.
  • Manage resourcing forecasts for all projects, proposed and active.
  • Maintain constant knowledge of current and upcoming projects as they relate to resourcing.
  • Monitor day-to-day project activities and resourcing, identifying potential instances of over- and underutilization and actively work with department leads to address and solve those issues.
  • Arrange and conduct interval meetings with team leads and/or Project Management to discuss all active projects, as well as inform of potential project/staffing conflicts.
  • Build, analyze and report on weekly utilization reports to department leads.
  • Alert Senior Manager of Resource Management of any potential concerns or issues with meeting key deliverables due to resourcing.
  • Identify potential resourcing or process issues and present to Senior Manager of Resource Management with resolutions to such issues where applicable.
  • Recommend process improvements (when applicable) for Resource Management on an Org-wide level.
  • Work with Operations to improve and develop better reporting systems and workflows.
  • Collaborate with Operations to facilitate upcoming staffing changes (onboarding and off-boarding dates/timing) across the marketing organization.
  • Senior Resource Planner will ensure that agency process is upheld when planning, sizing, and staffing for projects.
  • Create forecasting insights for Freelance needs on a long-term basis to minimize large turn-over and constant ramp up time for brand new resources.

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of professional, relevant work experience.
  • Resource Management professional with 3 - 6 years of experience in a Resource Management function within a digital Marketing, Advertising, or Business-related field.
  • Well-versed understanding of the milestones involved in the creative development process.
  • Familiar in working with a cross-functional team of stakeholders.
  • An effective and concise communicator.
  • Someone who thrives in maintaining organization, finding efficiencies and building, improving and simplifying processes.
  • Command of MS Office, Excel, as well as Google Sheets (formula knowledge, and pivot tables, slicers are all a must).
  • History of successfully working in workforce planning software + data analysis capabilities.
The total cash range for this position in West Hollywood is $110,500.00 to $155,000.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
