Global Data Sharing Program Manager

Expedia Group’s Global Data Sharing team is looking for a high-energy, motivated individual to support a portfolio of data sharing initiatives. We are looking for someone who will facilitate outstanding operational methodologies, coordinating across a diverse, globally distributed team to ensure that Expedia Group meets legal requirements.

As a Data Sharing Program Manager, you will maintain strong alignment with key departments to ensure our response to evolving global data sharing requirements are well planned and effectively implemented. You will coordinate with our Global Data Sharing team on new jurisdiction launches, reporting requirements, and collaborate closely across multiple teams to identify and prioritize legal requirements. We need someone with passion for problem solving and acute attention to detail. You will partner with regional leaders, Product, Marketing, Customer Experience, Tax, Legal, and Government Affairs to collaborate on action, complete compliance requirements and track overall progress.

This is a 12 month FTC.

What you’ll do:

  • For the launch of new jurisdiction requirements - organize and define project scope, resources, track, and plan for delivery

  • Facilitate and document plans through a project life cycle

  • Execute operations through the cycle of a new launch

  • Lead project meetings focused on status reporting, problem resolution, feedback, and fostering open communication within the team on project planning and execution

  • Partner with Regulatory and Data Sharing Program Manager to communicate on project status across key partners

  • Lead the the Escalation process and coordinate with members of the Global Data Sharing team to help with prioritizing work

  • Create processes and manage tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) to support all internal stakeholders with customer-centric inquiries and communication of progress against goals

  • Help technical and operational teams to problem solve to resolution

  • Ensure stable and efficient execution of all data sharing functions, working closely with business partners to drive adoption and implementation of processes and programs

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent related professional experience

  • 2+ year of experience in progressively challenging roles that include program and/or project management

  • Experience in JIRA, Confluence, Trello. Any experience in other PM tools is a plus

  • Process improvement in an operational space

  • Acute attention to detail

  • An interest the regulatory and compliance. Be a pioneer in the regulation of the internet!

  • Excellent communication skills. This person will be working daily with multiple internal teams

  • Familiarity with regulatory environments and comfort with reading and understanding ordinances, legislation, or other government directives
