Account Manager, Private Label Solution (Gurgaon)

We're on the search for an Account Manager, to join our Private Label Solutions (PLS) team in Gurgaon. Private Label Solutions leverages the best of the Expedia Group’s partner-facing APIs and template products with a laser focus on B2B, powering hundreds of partners around the world. As the Expedia Group’s partner-focused arm, PLS’ mission is to provide its partners with solutions to fuel their growth. EPS partners with businesses across a wide range of verticals, including loyalty programs, airlines, travel agents, corporate travel management companies and online retailers who remarket PLS rates and availabilities to their travellers.


What you'll do:

  • Grow and manage a portfolio of existing and new PLS partners across India

  • Account ownership of partner relationships post-launch with clear profitability/revenue targets and the identification and development of incremental revenue opportunities.

  • Management of a mix of partners from multiple segment with clear profitability/revenue targets.

  • Build effective client relationships and lead complex commercial negotiations

  • Influence the decision making of both internal and external stakeholders through formal and informal negotiations / discussions

  • Travel regularly and meet partners face-to-face. Travel requirements are both domestic and international.

Who you are

  • Proficient in Hindi English with an ability to communicate with partners at a professional level

  • Strong understanding of hotel B2B distribution in India and APAC.

  • Strong relationship / communication skills; required as role is client facing, involving client contact in negotiation and in ongoing partner contact.

  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage a wide variety of projects simultaneously and under deadline.

  • Experience working in online travel/commerce/retailing/portals, a plus.

  • Technical Project Management experience, a plus.

  • A good understanding of the internet technologies used in the travel industry, a plus

  • Extensive e-commerce experience and familiarity with e-commerce / e-marketing metrics and their management is highly desirable.

  • University Degree. MBA or Master’s Degree, a plus.
