As a Senior Product Manager for Marketplace Design at Expedia Group, you’ll orchestrate the development of cutting-edge marketplace products and services with a focus on the growth and retention of customers across our multi-faceted marketplace. You'll lead cross-functional efforts to actualize a data-informed, customer-centric product strategy. Your expertise will drive the creation of strategic roadmaps, foster influential stakeholder relationships, and elevate the travel experience through meticulous execution and visionary leadership.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and enhance a suite of data products and partner-facing experiences within the Expedia Group marketplace to elevate traveler experiences and enhance the quality of marketplace offerings

  • Own the product vision for a portfolio, ensuring a clear and persuasive narrative addresses customer and business needs

  • Construct and champion a strategic product roadmap that seamlessly aligns key outcomes with actionable delivery milestones

  • Navigate Expedia Group's organizational landscape adeptly, cultivating influential relationships to champion strategic product decisions

  • Define and monitor product performance metrics in line with the overarching vision, guiding teams in leveraging advanced data analysis to drive informed decision-making

  • Partner with Software Development Engineering and Data Science and shape activity prioritization to ensure congruence with broader organizational objectives, while upholding rigorous product specifications and leading cross-functional teams towards ambitious project goals

  • Expertly manage intricate stakeholder dynamics, fostering consensus and driving successful outcomes for collaborative product initiatives

  • Cultivate an inclusive and high-performing team environment through impactful mentorship and support

  • Empower Product Managers with enhanced technical proficiency through mentorship, ensuring their contributions are insightful and impactful to product development efforts

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree or Masters in a related field; or Equivalent related professional experience

  • 6+ years of software product management experience delivering products (including preferred experience across marketplace services, data products, b2b, partner facing experience, etc.)

  • Committed problem solver who can deeply investigate the details using data but will always be passionate about the “big picture”

  • Proven ability to prioritize, socialize, and execute multiple cross-team initiatives for optimized impact. Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously and ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is required

  • Highly analytical — ability to collect and analyze data from a variety of sources, identify key insights, spot product optimization opportunities, and inform product decisions. Comfortable designing technical products leveraging data, ML and AI. Familiarity with ranking algorithms is a plus

  • Demonstrates a critical understanding of business processes and challenges, developing solutions to meet unique business needs and objectives with engineering stakeholders

  • A recognized leader with a bias to action and an ability to influence senior stakeholders through excellent communication skills

  • Demonstrates expertise in leading product vision and strategy development

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $173,000.00 to $242,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $277,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
