If you have strong full-stack web development skills, enjoy building modern web-based UIs, and thrive in cross-functional environments, this team is the place for you. As a senior member of the team, you will provide the thought leadership and technical expertise needed to overcome hard problems. By now, you would have built and supported critical components of products/platforms at scale.

What you'll do:

  • Build reusable component-based web UI architectures with modern frameworks (React, Redux, GraphQL, etc.)

  • Build backend services in a cloud-based microservices architecture using multiple technologies (Node, Kotlin, AWS, etc.)

  • Maintain cross-browser compatibility and resolve performance issues

  • Develop fast, scalable, highly available, and reliable web apps

  • Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code

  • Collaborate with product leads, UX designers, information architects, and back-end engineers

  • Enthusiastically look for ways to make our customers' experiences better

  • Advocate for engineering excellence, excellent usability, and outstanding quality

  • Drive architectural decisions on our frontend and backend systems

  • Showcase your work on our tech blog and internal & external conferences

  • Mentor other engineers on the team

Who you are:

  • 5+ years of experience leading technical designs, mentoring developers, and helping driving engineering maturity

  • Experience building full-stack applications with OO languages (Java, C#, Python, JS/TypeScript) and modern web technologies (React, Redux, GraphQL, Node, etc.)

  • Strong command of web standards, and cross-browser compatibility

  • Understand client-side performance and how to improve it

  • Write clean, maintainable code and follow established coding conventions

  • Work effectively and efficiently in distributed teams with different levels of expertise

  • Value continuous improvement and constantly look for opportunities to improve the team’s productivity

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Previous experience on large codebases
