Senior Sourcing Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Sourcing Analyst to join our Procurement Sourcing Operations team and collaborate with our business functions to build great products and facilitate connections between travelers and partners.

You will be joining a multi-cultural environment and will be responsible for global tactical procurement activities, focused mainly on contracts negotiation. It is an exciting opportunity to engage with stakeholders from different functions and learn more about the Travel-tech industry.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage end-to-end contract execution for multiple indirect procurement categories using our CLM system

  • Determine and align on the purchase request requirements, (ie. specifications, timing, challenges, etc.) with business stakeholders from different functions and levels

  • Draft agreements according to pre-approved templates, following internal guidelines and procedures

  • Negotiate commercial terms with vendors to ensure that best-in-class conditions are achieved

  • Manage redlining and coordinate review with different functions (Legal, Tax, Treasury, Finance) to collect inputs as needed

  • Ensure all the legal and regulatory requirements are met

  • Accountable for low-middle complexity contracts execution

  • Understand industry specificities, trends and market conditions for specific indirect procurement sub-categories and act as a subject matter in this area

  • Manage the contract lifecycle, including amendments, terminations, and renewals

  • Ensure good relationship with the business stakeholders and the supporting functions

  • Identify business requirements, create, communicate, and execute on sourcing project work plan and timeline using our project management system

  • Identify suitable vendors, execute requests for quotation, prepare price comparisons and negotiate commercial terms for mid-complexity cases

  • Identify supporting efforts, dependencies, or barriers. Identify any sourcing issues and communicate progress

  • Coordinate and collaborate with category buyers and managers to ensure that the category strategy is implemented

  • Support the procurement requests triage as needed

  • Support continuous improvement of procurement processes

  • Analyze and communicate ongoing opportunities to drive spend to varied category teams for more strategic solutions

  • Facilitate efforts across multiple products/brands as well as multiple geographies in developing solutions to problems

  • Assist with risk analysis to identify issues (financial, operational and/or regulatory) and develop risk mitigation strategy

  • Communicate risks and alternative mitigation strategies to business owners and partners

  • Handle administrative processes and activity reporting as needed to support projects

  • Support other business-related activities as directed by management

Who you are:

  • Bachelor’s or Master's in business, technology, or related field; or equivalent related professional experience

  • 3+ years’ experience in global corporate indirect procurement with a focus on transactional with goal of moving to more strategic solutions for category

  • Strong understanding of procurement and source to contract practice

  • Excellent customer service skills, interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Capable of working with abstract concepts and effectively communicating topics to others

  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to influence and guide

  • Positive “can do” attitude

  • Strong analytical, process and collaboration skills to resolve business problems

  • Works well with opposing priorities and high levels of ambiguity

  • Strong eye for business, analytical and interpersonal skills with a high degree of attention to detail

  • Strong process orientation with project management skills and proven program implementation experience

  • Great teammate who can work independently while prioritizing your own work and resources

  • Ability to work with a sophisticated matrix of partners and businesses

  • Ability to handle time to complete work optimally and efficiently

The total cash range for this position in Springfield is $61,500 to $86,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $98,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500.00 to $115,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
