Manager, Inclusion & Diversity, India
What you’ll do:
Advance the Inclusion and Diversity strategy for Expedia Group in India.
Drive our Inclusion Business Group expansion in India and work with the local leads to build an inclusive culture for all employees.
Partner with Inclusion and Diversity team colleagues and Inclusion Business Group local chapter leads to execute on identity-specific celebrations, events, and initiatives.
Partner closely with members of the People Team and other stakeholders to ensure that Inclusion and Diversity is reinforced and protection from discrimination against our underrepresented employees in India is upheld.
Partner with members of the local People Team to monitor compliance with local government mandates and communicate risk exposure for non-compliance.
Collaborate with business leaders to identify gaps and implement initiatives aimed at managing microaggressions and unconscious bias.
Support localization of inclusion learning content, create scenarios relevant to the local audience, and facilitate learning sessions for the region. Focus areas include bias, microaggressions, and creating an inclusive culture.
Who you are:
Deep knowledge of Diversity and Inclusion trends and topics within in India with a passion for continuous learning.
Hands on experience in engaging, growing and maintaining Employee Resource Groups.
Experience executing events through collaboration and program management.
Excellent facilitation skills and experience developing and delivering locally relevant inclusion and diversity content.
Ability to track measure of success for DEI programs, track progress, and ultimately assess and communicate the data to key stakeholders.
Ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative data and can utilize data to identify opportunities and their solutions with a focus on impact.
Ability to navigate sensitive situations with confidentiality and empathy and manage risk appropriately.
Comfortable working on an international team, building cross-functional relationships and influencing colleagues at all levels and work independently while managing multiple projects ad priorities.
Powerpoint, Sharepoint, and/or Google Slides experience
Knowledge of local labour laws, talent management processes and HR practices is a plus.
Established relationships and partnerships with local NGOs and industry associations is a plus.
