We are looking for an experienced Director that can lead a strong team into the next stage of growth, including launching new traveler-facing products, entering new partner segments, expanding partner monetization through innovation, and adding platform capabilities to our data pipeline. This role will oversee the work of and mentor a global product team, partnering closely with commercial, design, tech, and analytics to ensure seamless collaboration across functions and enhance organizational performance.

The ideal candidate is a growth leader that can operate at speed with a high level of craftsmanship and invention. They are comfortable working across a wide range of domains, driving large scale business impact, and can communicate effectively with executive audiences. This role embodies the intersection of strategic vision, technical depth, and a collaborative ethos, essential for revolutionizing global travel experiences.

What you'll do:

  • Forge and propel a long-term product vision that strategically navigates the competitive landscape and interlinks multiple workstreams.

  • Catalyze the creation of a dynamic and responsive strategic product roadmap, ensuring cross-functional buy-in.

  • Set and achieve team goals, modeling leadership agreements to foster a high-performance culture that raises the bar.

  • Own product profitability and financial performance, making data-driven decisions to drive business impact.

  • Supply product teams with actionable market and customer insights to inform company-wide marketing and brand strategies.

  • Direct product managers in crafting customer journeys and developing personas that resonate with target audiences.

  • Use deep analytical insights to foster user-centric design and validate product experiences.

  • Orchestrate data-driven strategies that leverage predictive analytics to enhance product decision-making.

  • Resolve escalations and align workstream priorities with the overarching product strategy and vision.

  • Establish clear product requirements and guide cross-functional teams through complex design and development challenges.

  • Collaborate with engineering to improve the technical basis of our product/ platform.

  • Monitor product performance throughout the lifecycle, driving continuous improvement.

  • Lead and influence beyond the product team to shape department-level strategies and encourage an inclusive, high-performing department culture.

  • People Leadership: champion team effectiveness and organizational growth by setting clear goals, nurturing talent to hone their craft, fostering inter-team mobility, and driving process improvements that align with strategic business objectives, all while leveraging new technologies to optimize performance.

Who you are:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Proven ability to drive business growth in a mature category.

  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills.

  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive work environment.

  • Previous experience working with strategic partnerships and/or social creators.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $221,000.00 to $309,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $353,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
