Loyalty Program Economics Manager

At Expedia Group we aim to be the most rewarding place to book travel. In 2023, we launched One Key in the US market, a single loyalty program across our brands. We are looking for a Loyalty Program Economics Manager to join us and be a key part of driving performance from our loyalty program.
This role is based London and reports to the Director, Loyalty Programs within the Traveler Engagement and Loyalty (TEaL) team.
What you'll do:
Understand business economics, manage P&L and know how to optimize for profitability
Bring your experience from previously having worked on a complex loyalty program or platform
Create and manage ongoing reporting and performance analyses to deliver insights and provide data driven recommendations that maximize short- and long-term member engagement and growth
Identify opportunities to fine tune loyalty economics to drive profitability
Develop and leverage an in-depth knowledge of loyalty data structures and definitions and other complimentary data sources
Build financial business cases alongside the finance team for loyalty value proposition testing and evolution
Review analysis and provide inputs for financial forecasting
Partner with our third-party actuaries to understand program trends, model inputs and use their expertise to improve business performance

Excellent presentation skills and enjoy constructing and delivering a story to senior leaders
Ability to determine tangible actions and drive delivery through a cross-functional team
Strong quantitative, analytical skills, including data manipulation, and processing large amounts of data to understand trends and make decisions
Expertise in Microsoft Excel
Strong Tableau and SQL knowledge
Strong business insight and experience in marketing strategy or analytics
A strong understanding in developing and delivering engaging loyalty propositions
Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent related professional experience
The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $110,500 to $155,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $177,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
