Internship Program Highlights:

  • Onboarding: Connect with your cohort, receive support, and set up for success in your first week

  • Intern Bootcamp: Role-specific technical and professional skills learning, both in-person and virtual, delivered in your first week to help you get set up for success

  • Meaningful work and projects: Interns join a variety of Expedia Group teams and directly contribute to business workstreams and priorities; at the conclusion of the internship interns present their work to team members and senior leadership

  • Learning Series: Interactive workshops delivered by our Learning team to build professional & soft skills, and support development, including topics such as personal branding and presentation skills

  • Leadership Series: Exclusive intern-only events with our Travel Leadership Team leaders to learn about their career journeys, hear their views on industry and company trends and ask questions!

  • Social events: Regular fun events organized for each regional cohort so you can get to know others, enjoy the Expedia Group culture, and enjoy some downtime!

  • Mentorship: Mentors are assigned to each individual intern to support your development and learning throughout the program and are also a great way to build your understanding and network at EG

  • Support: Coaching and advice, provided by managers, team navigators (buddies) and a specific point of contact per region from Emerging Talent & Careers

What You’ll do:

In E4B, we manage Expedia Group’s business-to-business (B2B) relationships - ranging from large airlines, hotels, vacation rentals, cruises, car rentals, financial institutions, travel agents and more - which connect partners with all that EG offers in pursuit of their goals. By joining the 2024 Expedia Group Internship Program as a Commercial Intern, you’ll be immersed into one of our commercial teams that stretch across our supply partnership, B2B partnership, and Media & Brand partnership teams.

  • You’ll assist your team in growing and optimizing an account portfolio focusing on the adoption of EG's full suite of products and tools.

  • You’ll develop an understanding of the sales techniques used in partner engagements to drive business needs.

  • You’ll uncover partner needs by listening to partners, analyzing internal data, and exploring external sources.

  • You’ll understand the industry and competitive landscape of your team.

  • Must be available to commit to the full program dates.

  • For AMERS (CHICAGO, AUSTIN): May 20th, 2024 – July 26th, 2024 OR June 24th, 2024 -August 30th, 2024

  • Must be graduating with an undergraduate degree between April and July 2025 focused on a commercial or business-related degree (e.g., Business, Hospitality)

  • Must be willing to relocate to city of job location if outside commuting distance.

  • Must commit to full time hours every week.

  • Must have no more than 2 years of professional experience in a similar role.

  • Must have desire for sales; account management, partner / client success, or related field.

  • Helpful to be fluent in a language additional to English (EMEA only)

  • Helpful to have a growth or learner mindset.

  • Helpful to have empathy and be inclusive.

  • Helpful to have organization and time management skills, rigor, and attention to details.

What We Offer:

Successful candidates will receive a competitive compensation package including the benefits below and others:

  • The total cash range for this position in Austin is $32 per hour. The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $30 per hour. Pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location and degree level.
