Senior Media Specialist - Media Pod Manager

The Media Manager who will report into the EG Media’s Brand Lead will assist in constructing the Global Media Strategy for their respective brand and ensuring all of EG Media’s outputs deliver against it. They are a champion for their brand, coordinating and building alignment with interdependent stakeholders in the wider Brand Organisation. They provide direction to enable the Media Planning and Investment teams to design holistic media strategies and plans and execute them.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in developing each brand’s annual Global Media Strategy in response to the Comms Brief and help supervise all media outputs to ensure adoption

  • Provide innovative ideas and approaches to assist Comms Planning’s development of Comms Framework

  • Source and collate data and information to help determine allocation of capital x-markets, x-brands and incremental funding

  • Assist in constructing PowerPoint decks and developing common templates

  • Engage with the Brand Org to determine and supervise timelines and deliverables

  • Work with interdependent stakeholders in Brand Org to provide / extract necessary information

  • Ensure adoption of EG Media interaction process with Brand Org

  • Attend Brand meetings and include EG Media Planning & Buying talent in relevant meetings

  • Provide continuous media planning updates to Brand Org

  • Provide continuous Brand Org updates to EG Media teams

  • Collaborate with Planning Leads to coordinate planning and response to Comms Planning Media Briefs

  • Synthesise market specific schematics and reports into global views and socialise in relevant forums

  • Collaborate with Creative Org to ensure media/creative alignment and determine required assets and delivery timelines

  • Escalate urgent issues into correct forums

  • Ensure consistent output x-market and x-brand

  • Analyses and evaluate global media learnings and work with Media Planning / Brand Org to act upon them

Who you are:

  • 4+ years in a media related role

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in related technical field; or equivalent related professional experience

  • Strategic media planning knowledge

  • Established understanding of brand marketing team operations whether built through in-house experience or client management within a media agency

  • Ability to synthesise detailed information into relevant wider views

  • Expert PowerPoint / Keynote skills

  • Proven storytelling and visualisation skills

  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills

  • Data driven

  • Consultative approach

  • Strong interpersonal, expectation management and stakeholder alignment skills

  • Ability to prioritise and coordinate multiple work assignments

  • Willingness to take ownership of issues and drive solutions

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $82,500 to $115,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $132,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
