Senior Product Manager, Landing Experiences

Expedia Group believes that “travel is a force for good”, and the Growth and Acquisition (G&A) Experiences team works to efficiently bring Travelers into the Expedia ecosystem by creating intelligent, relevant and highly engaging experiences that warmly welcome Travelers into the Expedia ecosystem and help push them further along their Traveler journey on Expedia brands.

The Growth and Acquisition team sits at the top of the funnel, with end-to-end ownership of the key experiences, technology and tools required to enable experiences that nail the first impression for every Traveler. G&A partners closely with the Expedia Brands marketing team to drive top-of-funnel goals across numerous channels such as churn prevention through email and brand marketing campaigns. Furthermore, G&A works to ensure experiences are built to encourage acquired users to return and repeat. The team sits at the center of innovation at Expedia, working to leverage A/B experimentation and AI/ML at scale to build more intelligent and relevant experiences to ensure all travelers have a safe landing at their final destination.

What you'll do:

  • Create the product strategy and drive roadmap execution for multiple key initiatives across Landing Experiences (Home, Merchandising, Search Form, Global Navigation)

  • Work with development teams responsible for Landing Experiences to deliver the roadmap

  • Set, track, and communicate success metrics to support end-of-funnel conversion, and be able to employ them to empower decision making

  • Develop strong relationships with the Expedia Brands marketing team to leverage domain knowledge, influence decision making, and drive return on investment for brand spend

  • Develop strong relationships with key technical platform and domain owners and collaborate on cross-team roadmaps to support your planned outcomes

  • Work with ML teams to deliver highly relevant and optimized experiences

  • Develop a deep understanding of target customers via customer research and data analysis, and promote customer-centric thinking among functional peers and partners

  • Use storytelling and persuasive influencing techniques that build trust with teams and partners and establish long-term relationships

  • Drive cross-team collaborations with leaders to move projects forward and close on open questions, ensuring that blockers are identified and removed

Who you are:

  • 8+ years of Product Management experience for bachelor's degree and/or 6+ years for master's degree, applicable experience within technology / e-commerce

  • Excellent communication skills; able to partner effectively with cross functional teams

  • Experienced in core Product Management skills e.g., Agile Practices, communication, data science principles, listening, scientific method, reverse engineering, business acumen, influence and risk taking

  • Understands how to improve performance of metrics

  • Experienced in owning product areas and related product development lifecycle

  • Priorities new product features or strategic direction based on metric impacts

  • Knowledge of working with scrum teams in an agile environment
