Principal Data Architecture, Data Flows

In this role you will work with architects across the Product and Technology organization to support data architecture functions for the finance domain, which will include scalable capabilities in partnership with engineering teams and other stakeholders to understand and drive the implementation of data capabilities across the ecosystem

What you’ll do:

• Have an in-depth understanding of modern data architecture practices, patterns, and standards

• Leverage Oracle and AWS cloud services to architect robust data integration and analytical solutions to support finance modernization efforts

• Adapt and modify existing technology solutions, such as Oracle EBS, to suit the specific needs of the finance business domain

• Actively drive the data model design for staging the data to support finance functions [Accounting, Tax, FP&A, etc.] and data integration architecture for implementing Oracle cloud ERP solutions

• Define and create detailed documentation for data architecture standards and patterns

• Help others and mentor junior resources within the team with data architecture activities

• Manage stakeholders with frequent communication, expectation management, meeting deadlines, and minimizing surprises

Who you are:

• Bachelor's or Master’s in Engineering or a related technical field; or Equivalent related professional experience

• An indispensable and highly influential individual contributor who is an expert in modern data stack and building financial systems

• Translates business requirements into a sustainable, resilient technology & data architecture

• Assists with strategic projects and change initiatives of the wider group where needed

• Coaches’ senior individual contributors in their skills and regularly interface with senior (VP/SVP+) leadership

• Lead large, complex transitional architecture efforts delivering successful outcomes typically involving cross-functional teams of 10+

• Has 7 to 10 years of experience in architecting data solutions leveraging managed cloud services from AWS and/or Oracle

• Has 7 to 10 years of experience in developing/ architecting financial [ERP] systems supporting accounting, tax, payments FP&A, etc

• Has 5+ years of working experience with big data technologies, data transformation tools/technologies, and data management practices

• Has 5+ years of working experience with distributed data processing, event streaming technologies, and programming languages such as Java, Python, Spark, Flink, etc

The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $202,500 to $283,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $324,000, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Austin is $221,000 to $309,500. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $353,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in San Francisco is $238,500 to $334,000. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $381,500, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $221,000.00 to $309,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $353,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
