Senior Brand Planner
A high performing individual contributor who consistently applies - and sometimes enhances - the brand marketing capabilities, principles and playbooks to create a brand our customers love. Brings a customer-centric approach to solve complex business issues and opportunities. Operates largely independently and mentors more junior colleagues.
What you'll do:
Creates clear, concise and organized brand communications materials (e.g., reports, dashboards, presentations, messages)
Effectively analyzes customer studies and determines product and brand positioning. May be involved in forecasting overall share position for the company’s brand(s)
Develops project plans, defines timeframe, and prioritizes tasks to achieve project milestones and deliver intended objectives
Identifies the type of resources required to support a project, and makes recommendations for specific people, technology, partners, etc.
Monitors progress to meet project milestones, timelines, specifications and requirements
Establishes working relationships with stakeholders and gains stakeholder trust by effectively addressing their concerns to further long-term interests
Helps colleagues, customers and other stakeholders explore and understand their wider business challenges
Begins to use understanding of current business processes, objectives and challenges to suggest solutions and improvements
Develops an in-depth understanding of the industry, including the key players and their success strategies
Develops an awareness of industry issues, including trends and challenges or concepts
Develops a broad understanding of industry best practices, products/services and their applications; distinguishes the pros, cons and implications of the options
Measures and assesses customer satisfaction, market and business performance, efficiency and effectiveness of programs with data collection methods and procedures (e.g., surveys, opinion polls or questionnaires) or identify relevant existing data
Who you are:
5+ years for Bachelor's degree & 3+ years for Master's degree or equivalent related professional experience
Experience managing and leading large scale brand management or brand marketing project
Advanced knowledge of budget management and can run ROI assessment independently
Weaves together components from across other functions to enable cohesive, compelling and memorable messaging to external audiences
Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding of product components, design, features and benefits when communicating product features and brand’s benefits
Execute seamless brand consolidation, transition and migration
Adept problem solver who embeds a test-and-learn and data driven decision making culture
Ability to influence peers
Able to articulate business problems in a clear and data-driven way, creating linkages to broader business context
Proficient in ability to work with peers and managers in a productive manner
