Product Manager II
This role will focus on Landing conversion and SEO traffic opportunities and work to drive forward improvements for our travelers landing on Expedia through our performance marketing channels. This role requires close collaboration with various marketing and product teams to deliver a cohesive user experience.
What you’ll do:
You will understand existing key performance indicators related to your own work and the importance of metrics in defining success (e.g., efficiency and effectiveness)
You will compile data and information to support the development of more complex decision frameworks
You will synthesize customer insights from multiple channels/inputs to identify emerging patterns, trends, etc. and figure out which inputs are most critical
You will use customer insights to develop a set of viable solutions for customer problems and to inform product prioritization decisions with manager direction
You will understand and lead a cross functional team (including but not limited to engineers, content strategists, UX) through the product development lifecycle for a single product area to achieve a business goal
You will design and test product features in collaboration with design and engineering team
You will write user stories, acceptance criteria, hypotheses and success metrics for new product features or enhancements
You will anticipate and assist team members in the creation of routine technical communication materials (e.g., policies & procedures, guidelines, presentations, messages)
You will proactively contribute to cross team collaboration ensuring the best available information is included in analysis and share findings with peers and leaders
You will consider the audience's needs and context when crafting solutions or presenting ideas and are able to identify how the needs of different audiences may differ
You will bring a defined group of stakeholders together, identify how potential solutions could solve a problem and assess the implications of potential solutions
Who you are:
Has strong product management experience
Has good understanding of core Product Management skills including Agile Practices, communication, data science principles, listening, scientific method and business acumen
Experienced serving as a SME for product features owned including the ability to demo, explain capabilities and understand technologies used
Good to have an understanding of the performance marketing ecosystem and the capabilities and needs of the different SEO, SEM and Meta marketing channels (but not essential)
