We're seeking an experienced People Support & Labor Relations Specialist (AI-Driven) to join our People Team in Barcelona. This is a versatile role designed for a professional who enjoys the balance between operational excellence and the complexities of Labor Relations. Reporting directly to the People Support Manager, you will be a core member of the Support team, managing day-to-day HR cycles while also providing specialised operational support to our Labor Relations Director. What you will do:
The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks
As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a People Support and Labor Relations Specialist in the People Team, you will be in charge of:
Labor Relations & Compliance Support
- Support to LR Direction: Act as the operational support for the Labor Relations Director, assisting in the preparation of documentation for Works Council meetings, labor audits, and the implementation of local legal policies.
- Compliance Monitoring: Help ensure 100% compliance with local labor laws and social security regulations across our international hubs.
- AI for Legal Research: Use AI tools to streamline the analysis of collective bargaining agreements and legislative updates, helping the team provide faster internal legal guidance.
End-to-End People Support & Payroll
- Payroll Operations: Manage the end-to-end payroll process for assigned international locations, coordinating with external providers to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Employee Lifecycle: Handle the administrative employee journey (onboarding, contracts, leaves, offboarding) as part of the collective People Support team goals.
- AI Initiative: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive administrative tasks and payroll audits to improve the team's overall efficiency.
Data Integrity & Employee Experience
- HRIS Management: Maintain high data quality within our systems and generate reports to support the team’s decision-making.
- Agile Support: Resolve employee queries regarding payroll, benefits, and labor right through our ticketing system, leveraging AI to improve response quality and speed.
What you need to succeed:

- Education: University degree in Labor Relations, Law, or HR.
- Experience: 2–4 years of experience managing international payroll and providing operational support in Labor Relations or legal environments.
- The "Support" Mindset: You are a team player who is equally comfortable managing a payroll file as you are researching a complex labor law query.
- Languages: Full professional proficiency in English and Spanish. French, German, or Italian is a significant plus.
- AI Literacy: You are excited about using LLMs and automation tools to remove "busy work" from HR and Legal processes.
- Tech Stack: Strong Excel skills and familiarity with HRIS.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Applied AI Tools: Demonstrated comfort using practical AI tools such as Gemini, or other AI-powered assistants.
- Experimentation Mindset: Curiosity and eagerness to explore, experiment with, and integrate emerging AI-driven solutions into workflows.
- AI-Enhanced Problem Solving: Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to streamline processes, and enhance productivity.
- Adaptability and Learning Agility: Enthusiastic about continuously learning and quickly adapting to new AI features and capabilities.
