What you will do:

The Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks

The Strategy Associate will be a key person within the Accommodation area. The candidate will use excellent analytical, strategic and communication skills to contribute to and deliver on our overall accommodation strategy. You will be working closely with cross-functional teams - Analytics, Marketing, Product, Supply, Prime and Revenue management to make improvements happen, and you will be measured on the impact that those improvements make.

As an eDOer, you will have clear objectives, great challenges and a clear overview of how your work contributes to the global company project and its customers. As a Strategy Associate in the Accommodation team you will be in charge of:

  • Work with the Accommodation area Senior Strategy Manager to formulate and deliver approaches to growing the value created by our Accommodation department.
  • Ensure achievement of area objectives and KPIs, by working hand-to-hand with other stakeholders (Marketing, Product, Supply, Pricing, etc).
  • Present area performance and business opportunities identified to the Accommodation leaders and eDreams C-level.
  • Generate hypotheses, perform analyses and communicate insights to gain in-depth understanding of our trading and spot opportunities to maximize our area’s performance.
  • Identify dependencies between projects and define solutions.
  • Inspire growth by proposing ideas and hypotheses on the strategy of the area based on analysis and cross-functional discussions - leveraging our Prime proposition.
  • Continuously problem-solve throughout the process.

What you need to succeed:

Good to have

  • At least 3 years of experience in business strategy related roles; past experience with data analytics is a must (consulting, start-ups, tech companies).
  • Expert-level proficiency in SQL and data visualisation tools (e.g., Looker).
  • Outstanding analytical skills and eye for detail: ability to generate insights and use data to inform strategic and business decisions.
  • Proactive, committed and highly motivated person, with high levels of ownership.
  • Strategic mindset with hands-on mentality, a problem-solver.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, being able to perform in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in the travel industry is not a must.
  • Bachelor or Master degree in Business or STEM.
  • Fluency in English.
