We’re looking for a visionary **Chief Technology Officer (CTO)**to join our leadership team and shape the next chapter of our company’s growth.

As a company operating at the intersection of travel tech, B2B SaaS, and luxury services, we’re building a platform that enables seamless, intelligent, and high-touch experiences in one of the world’s most exclusive industries.

As a key executive, you will drive innovation, scale global systems, and help shape the evolution of our platform beyond yachting into the broader luxury travel & experiences ecosystem.

You will report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in setting our technology direction, leading our engineering organisation, and building a platform trusted by the world’s most discerning travel professionals.

Charter Itinerary is a pioneering SaaS platform providing a comprehensive solution for yachting professionals. It currently serves 80% of the market and is expanding into the broader luxury travel sector.

We are a product-centric, venture-backed startup transforming how high-end travel is planned and delivered. From superyachts to private villas, our platform connects elite service providers with discerning customers — powered by smart technology, elegant design, and scalable infrastructure.

Our current tech & product team are all based in Slovenia and includes:

● 3 Full-Stack Developers

● 1 AI Specialist (LLM applications, smart assistants)

● 1 Product Manager

● 3 Part-Time UI/UX Designers

We are now seeking a CTO to lead this team and take our platform to the next level

🚀 Your Mission

● Lead Technology Strategy: Define and drive the long-term tech roadmap in alignment with product and business goals. Lead end-to-end technology initiatives from architecture design to operational excellence across engineering, AI/ML, product, and infrastructure.

● Scale the Platform: Architect and optimize a robust, secure, and scalable multi-tenant SaaS infrastructure.

● Own Execution: Guide the engineering team through hands-on leadership, sprint planning, and agile delivery.

● Product Collaboration: Partner with the product manager to translate user needs into beautiful, functional, and intuitive features.

● Drive Innovation: Lead the integration of AI/LLM features including smart assistants, intelligent suggestions, and automation.

● Build the Team: Recruit, mentor, and inspire a world-class engineering organization.

● Champion Quality: Implement best practices in testing, CI/CD, infrastructure, and documentation.

● Support Ops & Growth: Ensure high system reliability and work with support teams to resolve bugs and issues.

● Represent Tech: Participate in investor and strategic partner discussions as needed.

● Deep expertise in modern web development and cloud infrastructure

● Proven experience scaling platforms and service-based architecture

● Product and UX sensibility, with an eye for detail and usability

● Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira

● Experience with AI tools and APIs

● Demonstrated ability to hire, lead, and develop high-performing teams

● Thrives in fast-paced, high-ambiguity environments, balancing rapid delivery with long-term scalability.
