Job Description

Job Title:

Group Product Manager - Flights - Ancillaries

Role Overview:

We began by taking hotel bookings online over 20 years ago and we've been shaping the travel industry ever since. Today, we're building a platform that connects all parts of the trip – from accommodation to transport, flights, tickets, tours and much more!

From our hubs in Manchester, London, Amsterdam our Trips Business Unit helps people get where they want to go, anywhere in the world. Whether customers want the freedom of a car, the convenience of a flight, the ease of a taxi or the economy of public transport, we make it all possible.

Our team is passionate about helping people travel. They see challenges as opportunities. And they’re always ready for change.

A trip usually starts with a flight. The Flights team's mission is to offer a wide selection of flights, great value for money and the easiest end-to-end booking experience. Offering the right ancillary products - such as comfort seats, extra baggage, insurance, flexible ticket options, lounge access, fast track and more - can be a deal-breaker or a deal-maker to our customers. These products are also fundamental to elevating the travel experience. While families often need extra luggage, lounge access can add extra comfort during long connections, for example.

The Group Product Manager will play a key role in evolving the value proposition of the Flights product at Booking.com, overseeing the teams dedicated to integrating new ancillary products into the portfolio and optimizing the experience of existing ones.

The role will report directly to a Product Director and be on a team with other Group Product Managers. The individual will also work closely with internal and external collaborators.

  • Comfortable working with geographically distributed teams

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

Your experience:

  • 8+ years experience building products. Domain experience in the Flights and/or Travel industry is a plus.
