About Connectivity Partnerships

Within Booking.com, the Accommodations Partner Services department’s ambition is to become our accommodations preferred partner of choice. The Connectivity Partnerships team focuses on realizing this ambition by tapping into the hospitality tech ecosystem consisting of companies who are providing software solutions for our accommodation partners. The ecosystem is rapidly growing and becoming more important for accommodation partners. It consists of a wide range of players varying from Channel Management to Property Management Systems and from online booking engines to Revenue Management software. The objective of the Connectivity Partnerships team is to orchestrate the hospitality tech ecosystem in order to become the strategic partner of choice for accommodations. In essence Connectivity Partnerships nurtures and grows connectivity providers in order to grow connected partner performance on Booking.com

About the Strategy & Operations team

To define and enable this mission, we have created a dedicated team within our Connectivity Partnerships department: Strategy & Operations, which includes Strategy, Business operations, Commercial excellence and Operational excellence and tooling capabilities. As CRM Developer (Salesforce Architect) you will be the technical Salesforce expert within the Operations Team, which is responsible for both Operational Excellence and Tooling, and report into the Manager of Operations.. Goal of the team is to create efficiency for our Connectivity Partners and internal Partner facing roles via better processes, data and tooling.

The Connectivity Partnerships Department at Booking.com has selected SalesForce to be its CRM. As Salesforce developer/architect you will be responsible for the design, development, testing and implementation of elegant solutions in our Salesforce instance. You will join the Operational Excellence team and collaborate with our Sales, Marketing, Service Delivery, Engineering and Analytics leaders to translate business needs into efficient solutions within the system

This is primarily an individual contributor role, where it is possible to coach and mentor others depending on skills, experience, development plans and business needs. This is a great opportunity for someone with Salesforce developer/architect experience that is really looking to grow their career.

B.responsible

  • Build custom solutions on the platform using Apex, Lightning (LWC, Aura), Visualforce
  • Execute integration testing with Apex test classes and maintain maximum code coverage
  • Develop complex integrations between SFDC and other systems through custom API or middleware tools such as Mulesoft
  • Write Apex using industry standard best practices and design patterns
  • Collaborate with the Salesforce Application Specialist and Stakeholders in gathering business requirements from end-users, including members of the leadership team, and document the proposals for system design and improvements
  • Implement standard Salesforce functionality including sharing rules, roles, profiles, etc. and use standard features including Workflow, Process builder, and Flows to create solutions
  • Influence the development and deployment strategy across the team from Investigation to Adoption (CI/CD like Copado, SalesforceDevOps, etc)
  • Ability to thrive to work in a fast-paced, results driven environment with multiple responsibilities, whilst paying strong attention to details and long term design thinking

B.skilled

  • +5 years’ hands-on working experience in this area
  • Bachelor degree
  • Salesforce Certified Platform Developer
  • Salesforce Certified Data Architecture and Management Designer
  • Salesforce Certified Integration Architecture Designer
