We are looking for
We are looking for a driven and enthusiastic Business Travel Team Leader (m/w/d) , who desires to contribute to the growth and success of our Service Team.
Your role in BizAway
As a Team Leader, you will play a key role in guiding and supporting a group of Travel Agents, ensuring excellence in service delivery and operational performance. You will be responsible for maintaining high-quality standards, fostering a positive team culture, and collaborating cross-functionally with other departments (Quality, WFM, Back Office, and GTM&VIP teams) to achieve business goals.
- Lead, motivate, and support a team of Travel Agents in their daily activities
- Monitor KPIs related to service quality, productivity, and client satisfaction
- Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and feedback sessions.
- Coordinate training needs and collaborate with the Quality & Training area
- Ensure team compliance with internal processes and SLA commitments
- Work closely with Workforce Management to plan shifts and capacity
- Support escalations and complex cases, ensuring client-first resolution
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
- Contribute to projects aimed at enhancing service efficiency and scalability.
Your basic qualifications
5+ years of experience in a travel management or customer service environment
Proven experience leading teams (in travel industry)
Strong knowledge of GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre)
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
Fluent in Italian and English (other European languages are a plus)
A proactive mindset, with the ability to inspire and lead by example
Passion for people development and continuous improvement.
We are also interested in
Ability to learn and adapt to new software technologies
Familiarity with Zendesk or other ticketing/CRM systems.
Experience in managing multilingual or multi-market operations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
