Airbnb was born with a creative spirit, and it’s one of the most defining parts of our culture. We use our curiosity and imagination to come up with unconventional solutions. These are the ideas at the core of Airbnb:
- Our community is based on connection and belonging.
- Our creativity allows us to imagine new possibilities for people.
- Our responsibility is to all of our stakeholders.
- It takes a unified team committed to our core values to embody these ideas, and our fast-moving team is committed to leading as a 21st century company.
- Translate strategy into a roadmap and clear milestones; align stakeholders and secure decisions to maintain momentum across iOS/Android release cadences, ETL pipeline dependencies, and phased migration cutovers.
- Build and adapt program structures to evolving needs; make ambiguity tractable with crisp plans, decision records, and go/no-go frameworks that protect delivery and quality.
- Surface technical risks and integration points across mobile, data, and infrastructure domains; partner with engineering leaders to evaluate options and land pragmatic decisions.
- Implement mechanisms for dependency management, change control, and cross-team communication — including rollback strategies and release readiness criteria — that scale across orgs.
- Communicate progress, risks, and trade-offs to leadership and partners; tailor narrative and detail to the audience and decision at hand.
- Contribute to functional excellence by improving templates, tooling, and standards for program execution across TPM.
- 10+ years of end-to-end program delivery experience for complex, multi-team software initiatives — including native mobile, data warehouse, and migration programs — from problem definition through launch and post-launch learning.
