Airbnb

London, UK
Posted on Dec 3, 2025

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home, and has since grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The community you will join:

Airbnb is seeking a Market Associate Intern, Services to join the Service Supply team in London.

Our Services Supply team is growing and we want you to be part of it! Our team is responsible for building, scaling and maintaining a diverse and high-quality base of Services Hosts to answer the needs of our guests.

As a Market Associate Intern, you’ll be a strategic partner to a dynamic portfolio of hosts in your region and act as a trusted advisor, sharing tailored insights and implementing impactful strategies to help them thrive and succeed on Airbnb. Whether it’s helping them optimize pricing, enhance their service, or better understand the platform, your goal is to empower hosts to thrive. You will also work closely with market associates to scale education efforts through webinars, email campaigns, and more.

A typical day:

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with your hosts - delivering helpful, timely support and occasionally meeting them in person within your territory.
  • Lead regular check-ins and business reviews to identify growth opportunities and guide Hosts toward success.
  • Understand Airbnb’s product and Host pain points deeply—using that knowledge to advise Hosts and share meaningful feedback with internal teams.
  • Partner with your team to run engaging one-to-many programs like webinars and campaigns that help Hosts at scale.

The intern experience:

As an intern, you’ll be integrated into a team where you’ll contribute to challenging projects. Your manager, team, and our incredible employee community will strive to be superhosts to you during the summer. We provide the support, mentorship, fun, and real world experience needed to accelerate your learning and make a real impact on our product, as Airbnb revolutionizes connection, belonging, and travel. You can expect to:

  • Collaborate with multiple team members to achieve project milestones
  • Communicate with stakeholders across different teams to provide project updates
  • Seek and provide feedback throughout the internship
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the Service Supply team and broader Airbnb community

Your expertise:

  • Students currently in a Master’s program, with a strong academic background (engineering, business, or similar) and at least 3 years of higher education completed.
  • Previous experience in partnerships, account management, or any customer-facing role is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable with cold calling and initiating conversations in various formats.
  • A curious and scrappy mindset with an eagerness to proactively identify new tactics & approaches to source, engage and close successful leads.
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple conversations and leads across various platforms.
  • Clear and positive communicator, both verbally and in writing, with an authentic voice.
  • Passionate about Airbnb’s mission to create belonging and economic opportunity for hosts.
  • Familiarity with social platforms (Facebook Groups, Reddit, Nextdoor) for community engagement and lead generation.
  • Experience with or understanding of small business owners, hosts, or side hustlers is a plus.
  • Local knowledge of the London market and its service offerings.
  • Must be located in London and have work authorization. This role is not eligible for relocation support or visa sponsorship.
