The Community You Will Join:
Airbnb is seeking an experienced and dynamic L10 Program Manager to join our Internal Events Team, supporting the Event Production Team at our San Francisco main office - 888 Brannan Street. This person will be responsible for managing our full portfolio of Tier One internal events (events with executive team presence, 100+ attendees, attendees may include hosts, guests and employees), ensuring seamless execution, innovation, and excellent attendee experiences.

A Typical Day:
- Portfolio Management:
Maintain all event trackers and project management tools for Tier One events, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information. Evolve and develop tools as needed. Oversee planning, management, and execution of multiple concurrent events, delivering high-quality experiences for attendees. - Project Management:
Serve as project manager for large-scale event programs, overseeing all phases—from planning to execution and wrap-up. - Resource Coordination:
Support the Ground Control Manager, San Francisco, in resourcing freelance staff and vendors, ensuring projects are properly staffed and executed. - Agency Liaison:
As needed, act as the primary contact between Airbnb’s events team and our experiential agencies of record, ensuring clear communication and alignment on objectives. - Budget & Timeline Management:
Manage event timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure programs are delivered on schedule and within financial parameters. Work with Ground Control Manager, San Francisco, to look for cost efficiencies across programs. - Compliance & Brand Standards:
Ensure all event deliverables adhere to Airbnb’s brand standards, company policies, and legal requirements. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Partner with Space Team, Marketing, Communications, and other internal teams to deliver event programs efficiently. - Continuous Improvement:
Track program performance, gather stakeholder feedback, and drive ongoing improvements to event processes and outcomes.
Your Expertise:
- 10+ years of experience in experiential marketing production
- Excellent project management skills
- Proven expertise in end-to-end event production, from concept to delivery
- Track record of managing events in a diversity of venues and settings
- Deep understanding of industry trends and a strong network of event contacts
- Extensive contacts for day-of-event support and execution
- Demonstrated ability to build communities and foster culture through memorable experiences
- Excellent presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Highly collaborative, organized, and resourceful in fast-paced environments
- Proactive, self-starter who sets benchmarks and aligns expectations
- Up-to-date on pop culture and able to identify and engage relevant partners and opportunities
Your Location:
This position needs to be based in the San Francisco, CA office 4-5 days a week, or as required by the business needs for the role.
