The Supply organization plays a pivotal role in driving the company’s growth and expansion efforts worldwide. This team recruits and develops Airbnb’s global supply of high-quality stays, Experiences, and Services. With this focus on quality supply and international expansion, the team is leading the way for Airbnb’s continued growth and facilitation of millions more host and guest connections.
The Supply Quality team defines what “quality” means at Airbnb and ensures our listings meet or exceed that bar. We are a strategy and operations team building scalable systems, frameworks, and policies that hold hosts accountable while supporting their success. Our team helps protect the Airbnb brand, builds guest trust, and enhances host excellence.
The Difference You Will Make:
As Senior Manager, Supply Quality, you will lead a team of experts responsible for setting and evolving Airbnb’s global supply quality standards. You’ll be accountable for designing and delivering scalable systems and interventions that improve quality outcomes, drive accountability, and align with Airbnb’s values. You’ll also be a key leader for the Quality function—managing people, solving complex problems, and influencing cross-functional priorities that have a broad impact on our business and community.
A Typical Day:
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of Quality Standards Managers and Leads, fostering growth, inclusion, and strong execution.
- Set the strategic direction for supply quality standards, including designing frameworks that scale globally across diverse markets and listing types.
- Act as the primary point of accountability for quality enforcement initiatives—working with Trust, CX, Policy, and Product Management to build effective systems.
- Translate guest expectations, host capabilities, and business goals into enforceable quality requirements that protect Airbnb’s reputation and ensure excellence.
- Serve as a key thought partner to Product, Data Science, Legal, and Customer Experience teams—shaping tools and solutions that embed quality into the Airbnb platform.
- Lead and manage the resolution of high-stakes quality escalations and reputational risks with judgment and clarity.
- Represent the Quality function in cross-functional leadership forums and business planning efforts.
Your Expertise:
- 12+ years of experience in quality operations, strategy, consulting, marketplace operations, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing individuals and teams.
- Strong knowledge of the hospitality sector broadly, as well as high scale marketplace business models.
- Deep knowledge of global operational models, enforcement systems, and quality frameworks at scale.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through ambiguity, scale complex programs, and drive alignment across senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical fluency, including experience turning data into insights and insights into action.
- Outstanding communication and influencing skills—able to craft compelling narratives and shift perspectives across varied audiences.
- Visionary operator with strong execution skills and a systems mindset.
- Able to anticipate long-term challenges and architect scalable solutions.
- Comfortable making tough calls and trade-offs with limited information and high ambiguity.
- Empathetic leader and culture carrier, committed to developing talent and championing inclusive teams.

Your Location:
This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
