The Community You Will Join:

As a Market Associate, you’ll build strong business relationships, empowering Hosts with strategies to thrive on Airbnb. Your focus will include optimizing supply and pricing, recruiting new Hosts, and providing platform education. You’ll also help ensure Hosts deliver top-tier hospitality for excellent guest experiences as they grow on the platform. Beyond one-on-one support, you’ll collaborate with Market Managers to lead impactful programs like webinars and scaled email campaigns.

The Difference You will Make:

As a Market Associate, you’ll build strong business relationships, empowering Hosts with strategies to thrive on Airbnb. Your focus will include optimizing supply and pricing, recruiting new Hosts, and providing platform education. You’ll also help ensure Hosts deliver top-tier hospitality for excellent guest experiences as they grow on the platform. Beyond one-on-one support, you’ll collaborate with Market Managers to lead impactful programs like webinars and scaled email campaigns.

A Typical Day:

  • Build and grow strong, long-term relationships with emerging Professional Hosts in your assigned territory, driving account performance to exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Manage and optimize hundreds of Professional Hosts through regular optimization calls, business reviews, and scaled strategies, securing availability during high-demand periods.
  • Educate clients on product updates and relay feedback to internal stakeholders.
  • Provide exceptional support—both remotely and in-person as needed—to ensure host success, addressing their needs efficiently and fostering trust.
  • Leverage data to identify strategic growth opportunities, navigate operational complexities, and allocate resources efficiently.
  • Collaborate with other Market Managers and cross-functional teams—product, communications, public policy, legal, tax, and customer support—to lead impactful programs like roadshows, webinars and scaled campaigns, driving long-term market success.
  • Represent Airbnb in external meetings with professional hosts and at industry conferences, reinforcing the brand's presence.
  • Contribute to host community programs to drive growth and engagement across the Airbnb community.

Your Expertise:

  • 4+ years of experience in account management and partner support, with a proven ability to foster and grow business relationships.
  • Proven success in managing a leads pipeline and a book of business, effectively nurturing and converting opportunities.
  • Strong quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and apply data for day-to-day decision-making.
  • Adaptability to work at both strategic and tactical levels, with a history of executing effectively in ambiguous environments.
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience, ensuring alignment and success across teams.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage clients via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Self-starter with strong time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • CRM proficiency (Salesforce experience is a plus), with expertise in managing leads, opportunities, and core CRM objects.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English —Spanish is a plus— to operate effectively across South America's diverse markets.
  • 2+ years of tech industry experience is a plus, showcasing sector-specific knowledge.
  • 1+ years of travel industry experience is a plus, showcasing sector-specific knowledge.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within your assigned territory and internationally (once every 4 to 6 weeks), based in São Paulo, Brazil.
  • Passion for Airbnb, travel, and the sharing economy — being an Airbnb host is a plus — reflecting alignment with the company’s mission and culture.
