The IT Operations Specialist is pivotal in ensuring that our Internal Users get the day to day support needed to work efficiently in their roles. This position serves as the main point Of contact for technical matters for internal stakeholders. With this role being the first of its kind at Airalo, You will be responsible for helping with building out structures and processes for the team, support our key stakeholders, help build our onboarding experience and be a key figure in helping shape our team and company culture. Responsibilities:

  • As an IT Operations Specialist you’ll be responsible for supporting our fleet of Airlo Users with their day-to-day technology needs, as well as work to set up processes and workflows to enhance the overall employee experience at Airalo
  • Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, this position is responsible for maintaining quality services and driving change for the business
  • Support the day to day IT needs of our Users such as helpdesk requests, onboarding, access management and asset management
  • Help establish appropriate policies and best practices for IT operations
  • Help create processes and workflows that are scalable, repeatable, and most importantly – secure
  • Manage installations, upgrades, and configurations of our company owned devices
  • Work with cross functional stakeholders to identify areas of opportunities within the IT space
  • Develop and nurture strong customer relationships with key business stakeholders to identify areas of opportunity for improvements

Must haves:

  • College level degree in the relevant field or experience to make up for lack thereof
  • Experience with application administration of various productivity tools and platforms (Google workspaces, MDM Solutions, Slack, Jira)
  • Experience operating and troubleshooting macOS environments
  • Knowledge of identity and access management and best practices around employee lifecycle
  • Experience supporting end users in a high growth tech environments with rapidly evolving needs
  • Experience with managing a large number of assets for a remote-friendly environment
  • Experience working proficiently with minimal daily guidance
  • You are comfortable working as an individual contributor on a global team that is driving towards a common goal

Good to haves:

  • Experience with Onboarding new hires and running onboarding classes
  • IT Logistics experience for a fully remote company
  • Great attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Cloud-heavy infrastructure experience
